MICROPALEONTOLOGY COLLECTION
Most of the specimens are from the Phylum Protozoa. The protozoa are single-celled organisms whose size may range from a micron to several centimeters. The known fossils include only those which possess a silicaeous, calcareous, or chitinous shell. Several other images include extremely small gastropods, pelecypods, and sponge spicules.
